Strawberry+ Smoothie

This dairy free smoothie isn't your average Vitamin C packed strawberry smoothie. This breakfast/snack/anytime of the day meal is fortified with chia seeds and hemp seeds, two nutrient dense plants that have been consumed for thousands of years. 

Hemp Seeds
Family: Cannabaceae
Rich with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, hemp seeds are beneficial to our cardiovascular health. 

Chia Seeds
Family: Lamiaceae
Rich in protein and dietary fibre, chia seeds are beneficial for the digestive system while boosting your energy. 


Strawberry+ Smoothie
yields 2 glasses 


  • 2 cups of Strawberries - the riper, the better
  • 1/4 cup of Coconut Water
  • Chia seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Blueberries (optional)
  • Granola (optional) 

Blend washed strawberries and coconut water together. Top your smoothie with a generous dash of chia and hemp seeds and a handful of blueberries.
For an extra crunch, add granola and get to eating!
